Panelist. Remote. Chairs: Lee Tusman and Alice Yuan Zhang. Panelists: LaJune McMillian, Kristin McWharter, and Lauren Gardner. Description: Rather than abiding by conventional usage of tools like social media, conference calls, and chat rooms, how can virtual spaces adopt learnings from physical creative spaces while exploring beyond their limitations? Panelists discuss how virtual spaces and communities can serve as extensions of DIY space or form new models of institutions.
New Media Caucus Roundtable: Dematerialization of the Art Experience

Panelists: Nadav Assor, Nick Bontrager, Jon Chambers, Meredith Drum, Richard Haley, Mona Kasra, Agatha Sunyoung Park, Kate Parsons, Chelsea Thompto, Brenda Lopez, and Kristin McWharter. Description: This roundtable will explore the physical-virtual shift from 3D printing practices to Virtual Reality (VR) and Extended Reality (XR) experiences in new media. Curated and Facilitated collaboration between Make Studio artists and Digital Harbor Foundation. The exhibition showcased a range of digital fabrication processes made accessible to the needs of artists with disabilities. The exhibition was supported by a Maryland State Arts Council Micro Grant.
Super Bowl
Exhibition of work by femme identifying artists making work inspired by themes of sports and competition. The exhibition took place in conjunction with the 2012 Superbowl Championship game in which the Baltimore Ravens competed and won. Presented with Gigolo Knights Gallery in Arbutus MD.
